Steun voor studenten en collega’s uit het Midden-Oosten
De aanvallen op Iran hebben de afgelopen dagen gezorgd voor veel slachtoffers, mensen op de vlucht en een onvoorspelbaar verloop. Ook in andere landen in het Midden-Oosten is er sprake van toegenomen spanningen en onrust. Een vreselijke situatie waar ook een aantal van onze studenten en medewerkers direct of indirect mee te maken heeft.

Heb jij familie of bekenden in de getroffen gebieden wonen en heb je hier zorgen over of heb je behoefte aan een luisterend oor? De HAN ondersteunt je graag.
Als student kun je terecht bij je eigen studentbegeleider/coach, maar ook bij de studentenpsychologen, vertrouwenspersonen, het International Office, de studentenkerk (ook voor moslimstudenten), het Arnhem Student Point of de Moslimstudentenvereniging (MSV) in Nijmegen. De gegevens staan onderaan dit bericht.
Als medewerker kun je terecht bij je leidinggevende, teamregisseur, teamgenoten of één van de vertrouwenspersonen.

Support for students and colleagues from the Middle East
The attacks on Iran in recent days have caused many casualties, people fleeing their homes, and an unpredictable situation. Tensions and unrest have also increased in other countries in the Middle East. This is a terrible situation that is directly or indirectly affecting some of our students and staff members.
Do you have family or acquaintances living in the affected areas and are you worried about them, or do you feel the need to talk to someone? HAN is here to support you.
As a student, you can contact your study coach, but also the student psychologists, confidential counselors, the International Office, the University Chaplaincy (also for Muslim students), the Arnhem Student Point or the Nijmegen Muslim student association (MSV). Their contact details are listed at the bottom of this message. As a staff member, you can contact your manager, team coordinator, team members or one of the confidential counselors.
