Career day and Business event 2026
On Wednesday 28th of January second graders will have their annual Career day. From 9 until 13 they will receive information on minors, graduation, master education, studying abroad en more.
The afternoon of the 28th, from 13 - 15.30, all students (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year) are welcome at the business event. Students can meet with representatives the workfield at the market. Maybe to get an internship or to arrange a class visit?

Within the Chemistry department at Charles River Laboratories, we perform various analyses to determine the properties of chemicals/medicines. We are also involved in analyses for toxicological studies. With all the results of these analyses, Charles River helps assess the safety of using these chemicals/medicines in our society. We use various analytical techniques in the fields of physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, and (eco)toxicology. The presentation will focus on the internship opportunities we offer within our Chemistry department. During the presentation, we will also provide tips for writing a CV and cover letter.

HAN BioCentre is een Centre of Expertise in Toegepaste Biowetenschappen en Chemie met als hoofdthema’s Biobased Research, Bio-informatica | Data Science en Drug Discovery. We delen onze kennis en faciliteiten graag met bedrijven, professionals, docenten en studenten.
Onze expertise betreft bijvoorbeeld de productie van biobased grondstoffen op basis van fermentatie, de ontwikkeling van scheidingsmethoden voor volledig gebruik van reststromen uit land- en tuinbouw en de ontwikkeling van nieuwe geneesmiddelen door aanpassing van stoffen gewonnen uit planten. Daarbij werken wij aan alternatieve testmethoden ter vervanging van dierproeven of aan het ontwerpen van methoden en software om de enorme hoeveelheid beschikbare (genetische) data voor onze opgaven in te zetten.
