Career day and Business event 2026

On Wednesday 28th of January second graders will have the annual Career day. They will receive information on minors, graduation, master education, studying abroad en more. 

The afternoon of the 28th, all students (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year) are welcome at the business event. Companies will give presentations and students can meet with representatives the workfield. Maybe to get an internship or to arrange a class visit? 

The final list of companies and organizations that will participate will be announced at the beginning of January. Until then companies that have already registered will appear below.

HAN BioCentre  
HAN BioCentre is een Centre of Expertise in Toegepaste Biowetenschappen en Chemie met als hoofdthema’s Biobased Research, Bio-informatica | Data Science en Drug Discovery. We delen onze kennis en faciliteiten graag met bedrijven, professionals, docenten en studenten. 

Onze expertise betreft bijvoorbeeld de productie van biobased grondstoffen op basis van fermentatie, de ontwikkeling van scheidingsmethoden voor volledig gebruik van reststromen uit land- en tuinbouw en de ontwikkeling van nieuwe geneesmiddelen door aanpassing van stoffen gewonnen uit planten. Daarbij werken wij aan alternatieve testmethoden ter vervanging van dierproeven of aan het ontwerpen van methoden en software om de enorme hoeveelheid beschikbare (genetische) data voor onze opgaven in te zetten.

Master Molecular Life Sciences / Chemistry   
After completing your bachelor's degree, you can either start working to gain professional experience or continue your studies with a master's program. The HAN Master in Molecular Life Sciences offers a unique opportunity to do both. You will earn your master's degree while gaining practical experience through a long-term internship. The program combines theoretical coursework with hands-on research and development. Teia is een snelgroeiend ecologisch projectbureau dat zich inzet voor de ecologie in Nederland. Wij ondersteunen ecologische advies- en ingenieursbureaus met soorteninventarisaties, ecologische quickscans, rapportages en begeleiding.
