What to expect

During BrewBot, you will work on a fun and realistic challenge: programming a robot to serve coffee. While this task is easy to understand, it reflects real industrial challenges such as variation, object handling, and process sequencing. Everything you learn during the workshop is directly linked to real-world applications in production, assembly, logistics, and service environments
About the workshop
The workshop follows a challenge-based learning approach. After short and clear explanations, you immediately start working hands-on in small groups. Using visual programming, you will program two collaborative robots and learn the basics of robot control, safety, and tooling.
By the end of the workshop, you will see how much can be achieved in a short time. You will gain the confidence to explore robot applications in your own organization, recognize suitable first tasks for automation, and ask the right questions when talking to suppliers or integrators.
About the workshop facilitator
Andras Ligeti is a researcher at HAN University of Applied Sciences, specializing in robotics and process automation. He works closely with companies on applied robotization projects, helping them optimally implement robots in their processes. With hands-on industry experience as a design engineer of robotic processes, András combines practical expertise with applied research and education.
