Molecular and Biochemical Research
During the exchange course Molecular and Biochemical Research you learn to identify key genes and produce their corresponding (recombinant) proteins.
Identifying and producing proteins is an important aspect of life sciences that is carried out in both industrial/biotechnological and medical/academic environments.
During the first part of the exchange course you will work with DNA and genetic analysis.
Then you will embark on the actual production of biomolecules. The focus here is on protein expression, purification and characterisation of proteins, i.e. the "analysis" and “production" of the Biodiscovery-chain.
You will also design a research plan and work on your presentation skills.
