You have decided to follow an exchange course at HAN University of Applied Sciences. The next step is applying.
Exchange student
Before applying for this Exchange Course, you will need to be nominated by your home institution. Your International (Relations) Office will be able to provide you with the necessary details.
Nomination
Your home institution should send their nominations to HAN University of Applied Sciences before the deadlines below.

Application
Once you have been nominated by your home institution, you will receive a link to the online HAN Application form for Incoming Exchange Students.

Not an exchange student
If you are not an exchange student, you can register for an exchange course in 2 steps:
Step 1: Apply
Click on the Apply button on the right. After entering your details, print the Learning Agreement. Note: You must complete the remaining 2 steps within 5 working days or your application will expire.
Step 2: Request permission
Bring the Learning Agreement to your college (hogeschool) and have it signed by someone with the authority to grant you permission to follow a minor at the HAN. Send the completed and signed form to:

This course will only be held if there are enough participants. You will be notified if you have registered correctly.
Good to know
- If you are doing a degree course at HAN or another university of applied sciences in the Netherlands, you can take this exchange course as your minor.
- The exchange course will only go ahead if there are sufficient enrolments.
- If there are more enrolments than the number of places for an exchange course, students will be selected by drawing lots.
