HAN satisfied with good scores for English-taught master programs
Keuzegids 2023
Eight master programs of HAN were ranked above average in the Keuzegids, a brochure that helps students select the right study program. The Keuzegids compares all master programs at Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences. The rankings are based on the results of the NSE (National Student Survey) 2022. Master students rank their study program on 5 themes: curriculum, lecturers, assessment, career preparation and atmosphere.
Good scores
Eight master programs at HAN University of Applied Sciences ranked ‘above average’ on 3 or more themes compared to other Dutch educational institutions. Two of them are English-taught master programs:
As many as 10 master programs scored ‘above average’ on career preparation – a very important theme for students in their decision-making.
Relative scores
It’s good to note that the Keuzegids does not provide a total score. The Keuzegids rankings are based on relative scores that show how a study program scores on a theme compared to the national average. There are 3 possible outcomes: ‘higher’, ‘lower’ or ‘equal to the average’.
