Sustainable urban distribution

Students unveil prototype Dutch hydrocargo bike

HAN students presented the first hybrid hydrogen-powered cargo bike together with All about Hydrogen. It will be used for sustainable parcel distribution in the Arnhem region. The cargo bike offers sufficient loading space for the parcel service. The project is supported by the Province of Gelderland and Urban Arrow.

2021 NSE: high satisfaction with HAN lecturers

The satisfaction of HAN students with their degree program is in line with university of applied sciences students in general, with a positive accent. Lecturer quality was rated higher than the national average. This also applies to the commitment students experience and the contact with lecturers.

ISB Talent Event 2021

The very first virtual edition of the ISB Talent Event on 3 & 4 June was a great success! During the online event, we hosted 24 lecturers from 16 partner universities around the world, who assessed the project presentations of 67 International Business and Communication students.

Coronavirus self-test pilot study to expand in-person education

On Thursday 8 April, 400 HAN student volunteers began using rapid self-tests for coronavirus. They are part of a pilot study to investigate how we can enable more in-person education in the upcoming academic year.
