HAN University of Applied Sciences and Sheridan Institute in Canada have collaborated to offer students of Sheridan Business School the opportunity to complete their studies with a certified Bachelor’s degree in the Netherlands. You can read more about the application and admission here.

Who can apply?

  • Students of Sheridan Institute following the 3-year diploma programme in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing, can opt for the IBMS programme at the HAN.
  • Students of Sheridan Institute following the 3-year diploma programme of Advertising can opt for the Communication Studies programme at the HAN.

Business Administration specialisation Marketing

Students of Sheridan Institute following the 3-year diploma programme in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing, have the chance to spend an extra year in the Netherlands to obtain the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in International Business and Management Studies (IBMS) from HAN University of Applied Sciences.

IBMS programme requirements

Students enrolled at Sheridan Institute in the final year of the diploma programme in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing, can opt for the IBMS programme at the HAN. For those of you enrolled in the co-op programme, no extra requirements apply.

If you are enrolled in the regular Marketing programme, you need to do a work placement under the supervision of Sheridan Institute before coming to the Netherlands. This placement has to be related to the field of Marketing and should be at least 16 weeks in length. Please note that it is mandatory to pass this placement succesfully before entering the programme in the Netherlands. The Co-op Office at Sheridan College can assist in finding and supervising such a placement for an additional fee of CAD 510. Advertising

Students of Sheridan Institute following the 3-year diploma programme of Advertising have the chance to spend an extra year in the Netherlands and obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
