Physiotherapy
If you are a student at a university that has a bilateral agreement with HAN University of Applied Sciences, you are eligible to study as an exchange student at HAN.
Some exchange students prefer to stay at HAN for their clinical placement or research assignment. Below you will find the options organised by the Institute of Health Studies in the field of physiotherapy.
Clinical placement
It is possible to do a clinical placement in physiotherapy in the Netherlands. This option
is open to German-speaking and English-speaking students. The clinical placement, which must account for 15 ECTS credits, will take place in the final year.
To take part, you must have studied physiotherapy for at least 2 years.
Applied Research
If you are competent enough as a student to conduct literature research on your own, there are options for doing applied research in physiotherapy. The research has to account for at least 15 ECTS credits, but this also depends on your research question.
