Minor Adventure Education

Are you adventurous, good at sport and not afraid of an (international) challenge? Then register for the Adventure Education minor offered at the HAN University of Applied Sciences!

The Adventure Education minor is run in cooperation with the HUMAK University of Applied Sciences in Tornio, Finland. You will learn to use challenging, sports-related activities in a professional way in order to improve people’s personal, social and professional skills.

Learning by doing
The act of ‘doing’ can be a powerful way of teaching new skills and attitudes. ‘Doing’ can take on many forms: acting, actions, activities and experiences – in short, ‘doing’ is any situation in which people are ‘actively’ involved.

Your career
Programmes based on Adventure Education can be found in a number of professions, including personal behaviour training, social skills training, communication training, team building and management training.

  • This minor starts as an exception on the 23th of August in Finland
