Industry-oriented specialisation

Information technology is an exciting and rapidly developing industry. As a graduate you will have an industry-oriented specialisation that is highly sought after by potential employers. The course is given in English, so after graduation you are well equipped to work in an international environment.

Internationally renowned modelling method

You are taught an approach to information systems development that is based on model-to-model transformation. This approach is largely derived from the internationally renowned information modelling method Fully Communication Oriented Information Modelling (FCO-IM), a fact-based information modelling method developed by one of HAN’s research and competence groups.

Full-time or part-time English-taught course

The Masters course in Information Systems Development is taught entirely in English. You can combine your work with study by choosing the part-time option. If you opt for studying full-time in the Netherlands, we will help you to find a work placement position. 

Global careers in information systems

After successfully completing the Masters course, you will have a highly regarded and internationally recognised qualification. You will be capable of performing essential tasks in the analysis, design and building phases of information systems development projects.

Typical positions taken up all over the world by our graduates include information engineer, data/information modeller, data/information architect, information systems developer, database administrator and data-warehouse architect/developer.
