Create a Game
Create a Game introduces you to the world of advanced games for PCs and game stations. During this exchange course you will learn about topics such as 3D art, graphic design, story telling, and game play techniques.
Please note: the course does not cover Flash games for Internet or intellectual games like chess or Go.
Course outline
The Create a Game exchange course consists of 2 subjects in the 1st half of the semester and a project in the 2nd half of the semester.
Your choice of subjects in the 1st half of the semester depends on your prior education. If you have a background in IT, Informatics or Computer Science, you will follow the subjects Game Play and Game Development. If you have a background in Media & Communication, you will follow the subjects Game Play and Game Art.
Autumn and spring semesters
The exchange course can be followed in both the autumn semester (September to January) and the spring semester (February to June).
Shorter course
If you wish to follow a shorter course, you may register for 1 or 2 of the following subjects: Game Play, Game Development or Game Art. Please note that if you want to participate in the Game Project, you have to complete the entire course (30 ECTS credits).
Certificate
When you have successfully completed the course, you will receive a certificate showing the ECTS credits you have gained.
