Nijmegen is the oldest town in the Netherlands, situated on the banks of the river Waal. Nijmegen is surrounded by a forest with a few hills, castles and polders that provide ample enjoyment to nature lovers, skaters, cyclists, walkers and fans of high culture. This city is close to the German border and has excellent rail and road connections to all locations in the Netherlands and Europe.

For students from abroad; Accommodation
The HAN-university offers accommodation in the first year of studying at HAN University. This is only for full package students. The whole apartment is fully equipped: in the bedroom you will find a bed, a desk, a closet and cupboard, in the living room a tv, a couch, a table + chairs, a cupboard, in the kitchen a microwave, a washing machine, a dryer, all supporting materials (pans, plates, glasses etc.) and a refrigerator. Each student has his own internet facility through a wireless system.

If you don’t use the offer of full package, you have to find accommodation by yourself. There are several flats for student housing in Nijmegen. Students will live together with one or two class mates. Students will have their own bedroom, but share living room, kitchen, shower and toilet.
